TARBORO — The defending 1-AA state champions are coming back for more.

The top-seeded Vikings defeated Edenton Holmes, 48-7, on Friday to earn their second consecutive berth in the state championship game where they will play the West’s No. 4 East Surry on Dec. 15 at N.C. State.
