Theo Pinson, who wrapped up his senior season and career with North Carolina this past March, signed a deal with the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets on Monday afternoon. The terms of the deal are private due to a team policy, though the Nets already have 14 guaranteed contracts on their roster, which means Pinson will likely end up on the franchise’s G-League team or with a two-way contract.

Pinson played out all four years of his eligibility with the Tar Heels, averaging 10.3 points per contest in 37 games this past season, but went undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft.

He signed on with the Nets’ summer league team, averaging more than 11 points per game while appearing in all five of the team’s games.
