These are suspects in a home invasion that took place Monday afternoon on Discovery Street in Rocky Mount. Anyone who can identify these suspects should contact the Rocky Mount Police Department or Crime Stoppers.

A 58-year old Rocky Mount woman was the victim of a home invasion.

The incident occurred about 2:37 p.m. Monday on the 100 block of South Discovery Street. Sgt. Brad Summerlin of the Rocky Mount Police Department said that two suspects entered the woman’s home while she was present. One was brandishing a handgun and the other wielded an ax, Summerlin said.

The two suspects forced the victim into her bedroom and demanded cash. After a brief struggle, the suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of money, Summerlin said. The victim was not injured during the incident.

Rocky Mount police are seeking two suspects pictured in the attached video surveillance photo.
