Letter to the Editor: Trump plays dangerous game with national security
Wednesday, November 6, 2019
Can Trump’s corruptness be any better defined? The american intelligence groups, along with our allies, have all said that it was Russia who interfered in the 2016 election. And these groups continue to say so.
Trump wants to cook up some conspiracy theory that it was Ukraine. This man who claims that the Democratic candidate cannot beat him in the 2020 election, don’t appear that confident to me. And you either think that you are untouchable or the stupidest man alive to think you can work from the same corrupt playbook twice.
Pressuring Ukraine to dig up dirt on the Bidens will more or less be Trump’s undoing.
Ukraine wants to be independent of Russia, and it seems as if Trump is trying his best to deliver Ukraine into Putin’s hands. What drives this president’s willingness to do Putin’s bidding? Maybe after the redacted Mueller Report is released in its entirety, we will learn more about the unhealthy relationship between an American president and a ruthless dictator. But to deny monetary aid to pressure Ukraine, which needs this aid to fend off Russia, is indeed reason to remove this corrupt president and his entire administration.
Trump has denigrated the office of the president and betrayed America’s trust and the American people. It is good to see Americans, especially those in uniform who are willing to risk their career in order to speak out against corruption. This man has guts, and Fox News, Trump and Trump supporters wantto call him everything except patriot.
If you want to criticize someone, it should be Trump, Pence, Pompey, Sondland and Perry. All these traitors were in on the Ukraine telephone call or had prior knowledge of it. It seems even in the U.S., killing of the ISIS leader, Trump could not be presidential. He had to use his pettiness to take digs at his predecessor and the Democrats. This is another reason why Trump would never be the leader, past presidents have been.
Trump will forever be remembered as the most corrupt and lying president this country has seen to date. Yes, he is second to James Polk. We voters must decide whether we want continued corruption or do we want a president who will again bring honor and respect to the office of the presidency. It will take lots of ambassador visits to our allies to correct the damage done by Trump and his band of idiots.
